I'm ashley

I’m a full-time photographer based in Ottawa, where I also run a commercial studio space. While most of my work takes place locally, I absolutely love travelling for weddings and capturing love stories in beautiful places. I’m a proud beige girl at heart and gravitate toward a simple, cohesive aesthetic both in my work and everyday life. You’ll often find me browsing Homesense or Winners, usually leaving with another mug or cozy sweater I definitely didn’t need. I have a soft spot for chocolate, coffee, and French fries; the simple pleasures in life.

I share my life with an incredible partner who is endlessly supportive of my career and brings so much joy and sunshine into my world. When I’m not behind the camera, I love spending time on my hobbies; painting, embroidery, puzzles, staying active, and planning my next travel adventure. There are few things that make me as happy as mountains, sunsets, and cozy coffee shops with a good book.

The result is a gallery that not only looks beautiful, but brings you right back to how it all felt. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the beauty of meaningful moments. The quiet in-between glances, the laughter shared with the people who know you best, the feeling of a day that you wish you could bottle up and relive forever. Photography allows me to preserve those moments in a way that feels timeless, emotional, and true to who you are.
